From the Bottom of the Cup

    The initial concept of This is Most Certainly Brew Coffee originated in 2012 when Dr. Timothy Hamp was drinking his morning coffee. One day, when he got to the bottom of his cup, he said to himself, “This is most certainly brew.” 
   He thought, “What a play on Dr. Martin Luther’s very words.” Later he decided that he would like to use this idea to help Martin Luther High School, Northrop in an endeavor that would perpetually generate income to support the ministry.  
   The idea of This is Most Certainly Brew coffee kept nagging at the back of his mind. After he shared his thoughts with Marge Thiesse, Director of Development at MLHS, she immediately came up with the logo and label designs. 
   Dr. Hamp and MLHS Principal Paul Steinhaus then began the search for the “perfect coffee partner.” Together they established the criteria for an ideal partner.
    First of all, the roastery had to be a producer of a high-quality product that This is Most Certainly Brew wanted to associate with. Secondly, the roastery had to have a mutual Christian philanthropic philosophy and work ethic. Finally, it had to be a reputable, long-standing business. After searching for three years for the perfect roastery, they decided on one located in Minnesota that met their expectations of a viable partner.
   In June 2017 a tasting event was arranged at Sweet Indeed Bakery in Madelia, MN. The taste buds of several coffee connoisseurs were enlisted. The roastery brought several of their best coffees and the tasting began! The team of tasters came up with four coffee brews combined in unique proportions to launch This is Most Certainly Brew.
   Since then, we have added several “fun” flavors to add a little variety for your enjoyment. God has blessed this endeavor which blesses Martin Luther Jr/Sr High in Northrop MN. Friends have been made all across the U.S.!
